Her leadership roles have included driving institutional revitalization efforts at Michigan’s only Historically Black College, developing ethical design and sustainability-focused courses at Rhode Island School of Design, and consulting for schools in Scotland, Italy, South Africa, and the Netherlands. She has worked extensively with fashion industry leaders, promoting ethical practices and worker rights advocacy through policy development and educational programming. Kathleen’s nonprofit expertise is grounded in her commitment to equity, access, and sustainability, particularly in the fashion and creative industries. Her work at Fashion Revolution USA included developing cross-border grant funding to advance worker rights and sustainable practices in global supply chains.
